Kombucha and Sour Beer!

Hello Kombucha and Sour Beer Fans!  We are excited about our latest collaboration with our good friends Tapshack Kombucha for this year’s May the 4th.

Amanda and Chris, of Tapshack, burst onto the scene a few years ago and have been creating some of the best Kombucha in San Diego.  With wild flavors and an awesome vibe, Tapshack has redefined what booch can be.  We love their creativity and knew we had to team up on some really Wild Ales!

We used a high ABV barrel-aged brew and blended it 50/50 with Tapshack’s kombucha creating a 5% booch beer that will leave your tastebuds tingling.

Introducing …. Chewboocha and The Dark Side.

Each one of these beers is extremely limited, (40) 16oz cans, so reserve your booch beer today.

We started with a higher ABV Golden Sour base and blended it in equal parts with non-alcohol CarrotTumericGinger, and Cayenne Pepper flavored Kombucha.   This Sour Booch has a hint of spice from the Cayenne that helps to highlight the rest of the flavors for a refreshing Sour Booch.  If ever there was a healthy beer…this would be it!

The Dark Side

Perfectly Peach is one of our most popular stone fruit sours. We started with our golden ale that we aged 12 months in oak barrels to produce tart flavors, fruity notes, and a funky character. We then added a ridiculous amount of peaches to our golden sour base.
